Leanne - Belly Kids
Always a dancer dancing for the love of dance! Not only did Leanne dance Jazz, Tap, Ballet and Modern in her younger years, she also taught a hip hop choreography, was a substitute Jazz/Ballet teacher and an assistant teacher during those younger years. She loves to learn the choreographies from her favorite music videos and has taught friends for family events.
In 2010, Leanne walked into Nuwayrah’s class excited to try Bellydance. Bellydance introduced her to a different form of dance, challenges her body, and helped her embrace the changes that having children had made to her body. Eventually, she gained enough confidence to dance at Kaliedo Arts Festival and Deep Freeze Festival. Leanne regularly performs with School of Raq's X-treme Bellydance class.
As a mother of two she is very excited to be offering the first Bellydance class for kids at School of Raq!
